Clout - Saturday 5 October 2019

  • Sign in by: 9.30am

  • Practice 2 ends commencing at 9.30am
  • Single commences at 10.00am
  • Double commences 30 minutes after finish of medal presentation of Single Clout. Double Clout is a combination of the morning 36 arrow and afternoon 36 arrow shoot (72 arrow total).
  • Entry fee of $20.00 includes option of shooting Single or Double Clouts

              Note: Compound bows max draw weight as per AA rules

              Note: Sporting Crossbows are not permitted

  • Men:        180M (Comp, XB), 165M (Rec, BBC), 145M (BBR, LB)

  • 2 x WA60/900 Rounds each round 90 arrows
    • (30 arrows each at 60m, 50m & 40m on a 122cm face)
    • WA Award round for WA affiliates   
  • 2 x Short Canberra Rounds each round 90 arrows
    • (30 arrows each at 50m, 40m & 30m on a 122cm face)        
  • 2 x X-60/900 Rounds each round 90 bolts for Crossbow
    • (30 blts each at 60m, 50m & 40m on a 60cm face)

 

Indoor - Flight 1 Monday 7 October and Flight 2 Tuesday 8 October 2019

  • Entrants will be allocated to a flight once registrations have been filled. Organisers will endeavour to allocate all entrants in the same division to compete on the same night.

IFAA Field - Friday 11 October 2019

  • 1 x 28 targets IFAA Field Round, 4 arrows per target, marked distances

Participation Fees

Games Entry Fee: $110 per person or $99 per person for people aged 70+

(the above entry fees will increase to $137.50 and $126.50 respectively as at 3 August 2019)

Number of Participant Requirements

Minimum number of participants required to conduct competition: 10 (indoor) and 40 (for all other events)

Minimum number of participants required to conduct age groups: 4

Any age group that does not have a minimum number of 4 participants will be combined with another age group.

Maximum number of event participants: 36 per night (Indoor only)

Maximum number of event participants: 200 (Target only)

Additional Information

  • Archers not affiliated with Archery Australia (AA) or ABA/IFAA are required to complete and pay for a Temporary Membership upon Sign In Registration at the Archery venue. This provides public liability coverage during the Games.
  • If affiliated with “Other” Temporary Membership must be taken out for each venue to provide insurance coverage. Temporary Membership is $20 per person which will cover archer for all events.
  • Your Affiliation Card must be presented as proof of Membership.
  • If verification of affiliation with a recognised archery body cannot be provided, entry may be refused at the discretion of the host club/venue.
  • All archery equipment must be inspected prior to commencement. Archers must retain the signed completed Equipment Inspection Checklist with them during every archery event. If archer cannot produce the signed completed Equipment Inspection Checklist, the equipment must be reinspected. If archery equipment is altered in any way, it must be reinspected.
  • If the archers behaviour or archery equipment is deemed unsafe, entry may be refused at the discretion of the host club/venue.
  • Events will be conducted under the direction of accredited Judges and Directors of Shooting, with the exception of 3D and IFAA Field.
  • Clout, Target and Indoor are AA events and must comply with AA rules.
  • Archers are reminded that at AA events Compound Bows have a maximum draw weight of 60lbs, as per the AA rules. No broadhead arrows permitted. No Sporting Crossbows permitted.
  • As everyone is shooting under the same timing arrangements during the Clout and Target events, shooting will be 4 minutes for 6 arrows/bolts.
  • Scoring will be one electronic + one paper scorecard, where possible. Assistance will be provided for those who have not experienced electronic scoring
  • IFAA Book of Rules 2019 apply.  Max arrow speed 300feet per second.   Rangefinders permitted for IFAA event only

Rules

The competition will be conducted under AA and IFAA Rules.
