The Geelong business community gathered on the waterfront on October 30th, 2012 for a preview on the 14th Australian Masters Games. Special guests included the Hon. Hugh Delahunty MP, Minister for Sport & Recreation, the Geelong Mayor Elect, Cr Keith Fagg on his first day in office and special guest speaker, dual Olympic gold medallist, 2012 Australian Olympic Team Chef de Mission, and most importantly, a masters competitor, Nick Green OAM.

525,600 minutes. On October 5th 2012, that's how long there was until kick off for the 14th Australian Masters Games in Geelong. Organising committee advisory board chair Kean Selway was joined by members of the Geelong Shufflers netball team to unveil a countdown clock to celebrate the one-year-to-go milestone.
