Non Playing Officials and Accompanying Persons

In addition to Games participants, there will be two other categories of Games entrants:

Non Playing Official:  this is intended for coaches, managers, scorers, team trainers and all other support staff.

Accompanying Person:  this is intended for friends, extended family members, etc who wish to access a variety of Games services and areas but will not be competing.

Entitlements:

The entitlements for Non Playing Officials and Accompanying Persons include:

  • Official Games Accreditation Pass
  • Deakin University Games kit bag
  • Souvenir Games Guide
  • Opening Ceremony access
  • Closing Ceremony access
  • Access to all official Games entertainment program events
  • Access to all Games sports venues (note: some sports may have a small spectator fee applicable to those without a Games accreditation)

The entry cost for the Non Playing Official and Accompanying Person categories is $66.00 per person (GST inclusive).

We strongly encourage all teams and participants entering the Games to cover the registration fee associated with the Non Playing Official/s as a team cost. This is especially relevant and appropriate in sports where the supply of a team official is required under the rules of the sport and where this person will be reducing the 'duty' requirements of the playing team members.

Additional information for Non Playing Officials and Accompanying Persons
