FREE Public Transport

All participants, accompanying persons and volunteers will be entitled to FREE public transport on the Geelong Transit System (McHarrys and Benders Buses) including the V/Line train services operating between Marshall and Lara from Friday 20 February – Sunday 1 March 2009 inclusive thanks to the State Government of Victoria. To receive FREE public transport, simply present your official Games Accreditation Pass to drivers or other staff members.

Please note that the extent of the Geelong Transit System is limited and will not cater for all participants and venues involved in the Games, check timetables and routes carefully before planning your chosen mode of transport for the Games. The V/Line service only covers Marshall to Lara, all participants using the V/Line service to travel outside of this area will be charged at the standard rate (including travel to Melbourne).
