Forty-four-year-old Ian Miller of Pakenham, South Australia, is nearing retirement after 30 years of mountain bike riding. Today he competed in four seperate events at the Australasian Masters Games.

According to Darwin resident and table tennis enthusiast TT Lee, table tennis is his key to staying healthy from 'head to foot'. Once a Singapore University table tennis champion, TT has "zeroed in" on table tennis again since he retired and now plays twice a week.

After watching from the sidelines at the Games in 2005, 78 year old Alice Waye of Campbelltown decided to sign up for the Australasian Masters Games herself. After meeting during the softball competition at the 9th Australian Masters Games in 2003, it seemed very appropriate that Mhairi and Mark Hutchinson tied the knot on the softball diamond at the 10th Australian Masters Games in 2005. They have returned once again to the Australasian Masters Games in Adelaide in 2007.
