Women: 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+

Mixed: W30+/M30+

Age Requirements

Age is determined at 31 December 2019

Minimum age: 30 years.

Participation Fees

Games Entry Fee: $110 per person or $99 per person for people aged 70+

(the above entry fees will increase to $137.50 and $126.50 respectively as at 3 August 2019)

Number of Participant Requirements

Minimum number of participants required to conduct competition: 500

Minimum number of participants required to conduct age groups: 4 teams

Any age group that does not have a minimum of 4 teams will be combined with another age group.

Additional Information

Teams competing with two or more players with experience at NBL, WNBL, ABA or equivalent levels will be graded in A Grade unless special dispensation is sought and received from the organising committee.
Team members will be required to assist with score bench duties.
Qualified referees should contact Basketball SA directly to be scheduled for the competition.
Extra timeslots and venue/s will be added if required dependant on registrations.
Placement of an individual in a team will be subject to positions being available and no guarantees can be made.

Basketball Social Event
Sun 6 October – Opening day function after play at no additional cost.

Rules

The competition will be conducted under FIBA and Basketball Australia rules, adapted for the event - 17AMG Basketball Rules
