Briefing - 1.00pm

Wednesday - 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm

Thursday - 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm

Friday - 10am-12pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm

Event Information

The event will be conducted over a three-day period. Each team will have 3 anglers (Maximum of 20 teams). One angler per venue and rotate each day. Each angling session will run for four hours. 

Particpants may choose to enter as an individual, and have the option to later be placed into a team if there are sufficient numbers to form a team.

Age is determined at 31 December 2017

Minimum age: 50 years

Participation Fees

Games Entry Fee: $99.00 per person or $88.00 per person for people aged 70+

(the above entry fees will increase to $126.50 and $115.50 respectively as at 12 August 2017)

Please note: a $9.00 service fee is payable per person at the time of submitting your registration.  Further details available in the Games Entry Terms & Conditions.

Sport Entry Fee: $201.00 per person

Number of Participant Requirements

Minimum number of participants required to conduct competition: 21 (7 teams).

Additional Information

Practise days are available on 22nd and 23rd of October at any of the Tasmanian Inland waters controlled by Inland Fisheries service (all anglers will be required to hold a current Tasmanian state angling license). The waters allocated for the competition will be closed to all angling by the competitors. 

Rules

The competition will be conducted under rules supplied by and endorsed by Fly Fish Australia Inc.  Rules will be circulated at the time of anglers registration.
