Event Information

Games will be 15 a-side. A team can have a maximium number of 25 registered in total, 22 per game (should any teams wish to register more than 25 players, please contact the sport convenor directly to submit a request). Teams shall nominate a maximum of 7 replacements/substitutes.

All games will be 12-minute quarters, 3-minute quarter and three quarter time with 6-minutes for half time.

For players in the 30-49 Division every player over the age of 40 will earn 1 point to be added on at the start of the game. This includes players on the interchange for that game only.

There will be no time on or extra time.

Age Groups

Men 30-49, 50+

Women’s 30-49, 50+

Age Requirements

Age is determined as at 31 December 2017

Minimum age for competition is 30 years.

Participation Fees

Games Entry Fee: $99 per person or $88 per person for people aged 70+

(the above entry fees will increase to $126.50 and $115.50 respectively as at 12 August 2017)

Sport Entry Fee: $30 per person  

Number of Participant Requirements

Minimum number of participants required to conduct competition: 4 teams across all age groups and events.

Minimum number of participants required to conduct age groups:  4 teams

Any age group that does not have a minimum of 4 teams will be combined with another age group.

Additional Information

Each team will be required to provide one central umpire.

Rules

The competition will be conducted in accordance with the AFL Masters Rules of the Game, adapted for the event - 16AMG Footy 15’s
