Women: 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+

Disabled: 30+ Intellectual Disability, 30+ Wheelchair (subject to sufficient nominations)

Mixed: W30+/M30+

Age Requirements

Age is determined at 31 December 2017

Minimum age: 30 years.

Participation Fees

Games Entry Fee:

$99 per person or $88 per person for people aged 70+

(the above entry fees will increase to $126.50 and $115.50 respectively as at 12 August 2017)

Please note: a $9.00 service fee is payable per person at the time of submitting your registration.

Number of Participant Requirements

Minimum number of participants required to conduct competition: 200

Minimum number of participants required to conduct age groups: 4 teams

Any age group that does not have a minimum of 4 teams will be combined with another age group.

Results, Ladders & Social Media

  • Basketball Tasmania will be using Stadium Scoring during this event which provides results and ladders online for family and friends from around the country or around the world to be able to follow all the scores and details.
  • Photos of the event will be posted regularlary through our Facebook and Instagram Pages.

Additional Information

  • Teams competing with two or more players with experience at NBL, WNBL, SEABL or equivalent levels will be graded in A Grade unless special dispensation is sought and received from the organising committee. The granting of such dispensation shall be solely at the discretion of the organising committee.
  • Team members will be required to assist with score bench duties.
  • Referees should contact Basketball Tas directly to be scheduled for the competition.
  • Placement of an individual in a team will be subject to positions being available and no guarantees can be made

Basketball Social Events 
Sun 22 Oct – Mersey River Foreshore with marquees and entertainment.
Fri 27 Oct – Central Front Bar (exclusive for basketball) – relive all the photos from the week on the screens, speeches from high profile former players. 

Group Accommodation

Please email in regards to accommodation, as Basketball Tas has secured multipule venues for teams to stay over the event period.


The competition will be conducted under FIBA and Basketball Australia rules, adapted for the event - 16AMG Basketball Rules
