Age Requirements

Age determined at 21 October 2017.

Minimum age for competition is 30 years.

Participation Fees

Games Entry Fee:

$99 per person or $88 per person for people aged 70+

(the above entry fees will increase to $126.50 and $115.50 respectively as at 12 August 2017)

Please note: a $9.00 service fee is payable per person at the time of submitting your registration. Further details available in the Games Entry Terms & Conditions.

Sport Entry Fee:

$20.00 per person per event

$30.00 per person - 10km Road Race

Number of Participant Requirements

Minimum number of participants required to conduct competition: 200 participants across all age groups and events.

Minimum number of participants required to conduct age groups: 4

Any age group that does not have a minimum of 4 participants will be combined with another age group.

Additional Information

  • Late entries may be accepted prior to the commencement of AMG, subject to overall AMG policy. During the games period late entries for the athletics events will be accepted only from persons who are already registered AMG participants and only for non-stadium events. Closing times for such entries will be one hour before the events start times. An additional late entry fee may be charged.
  • Participants may enter any number of events but they should take into account possible time clashes. Athletics organisers will endeavour to avoid overlap of like events and will permit variation to the order of field event trials where required if time permits.
  • Athletics organisers cannot guarantee that the timetable will enable multiple event entrants to have access to all nominated events.
  • Please note that in the event of insufficient entries to conduct heats, the race will be held at the programmed final time.

A social function is planned for Tuesday 24th at the Penguin Services Club. 


The competition will be conducted under IAAF Competition Rules 2016-2017 the Summary of World Masters Athletics Competition Rules
