Event Information

Division 1, Division 2

Teams competing with two or more players with experience at National or State equivalent levels will be graded in Division 1 unless special dispensation is sought and received from the organising committee. The granting of such dispensation shall be solely at the discretion of the organising committee.

Womens 30+ 35+ 40+ 45+ 50+ 55+  60+  65+
Mixed 30+  40+

Minimum age 30 years                            

Participation Fees

Games Entry Fee:

$99 per person or $88 per person for people aged 70+

(the above entry fees will increase to $126.50 and $115.50 respectively as at 12 August 2017)

Please note: a $9.00 service fee is payable per person at the time of submitting your registration.

Number of Participant Requirements

Minimum number of participants required to conduct competition: 200

Minimum number of participants required to conduct age groups: 6-8 teams per age group

Any age group that does not have a minimum of 6-8 teams will be combined with another age group.

Additional Information

Participants in the Australian Masters Games who are registered members of Netball Australia are covered by Netball Australia’s liability cover for this event.

The options for unregistered participants are:

  • Participants informed that they have public liability cover but no personal injury cover for the event as unregistered members of Netball TAS and sign the non-registered player waiver.
  • Participants can choose to pay $15.00 personal injury cover fee offered by AMG as part of the registration process.

Participants may only play in one mixed team and one women’s team.

Rounds will consist of 4 x 10 minute quarters, with breaks of two (2), three (3) and two (2) minutes. No injury time is provided.

Each team must supply an umpire with minimum national C badge qualifications, a timer and a scorer.  All umpires to be Games Accredited Accompanying Persons.

Individuals can register for team events and will be placed in a team based on division and age group.

Mixed Competitions: Competition is subject to receiving sufficient team entries. If insufficient entries are received the Committee reserves the right to cancel the mixed competition.

A maximum of three and a minimum of one male player is permitted on the court at any time.


The competition will be conducted under INF rules.
